Axl Rose has spent months walking onto Guns N' Roses stages wearing a jacket with 'Satoshi Nakamoto' embroidered on the back

Since May 2025, the Guns N' Roses frontman has repeatedly been spotted on stage wearing a plaid jacket with Bitcoin's anonymous creator's name embroidered on the back, starting with concerts in Tokyo and Yokohama that went viral in the crypto community within hours. The garment carries no explanation whatsoever: no brand logo, no extra message, just the two words that have been the industry's biggest mystery for 17 years.

The jacket resurfaced months later, in October 2025, during the tour's stop in San Salvador — the country that made bitcoin legal tender in 2021 — fueling even more (entirely baseless) theories that Axl Rose himself might know something the rest of the world doesn't. Neither the band nor its team has offered any official explanation for the jacket's origin or purpose.
