Elon Musk pinned a tweet announcing his own crypto casino with a $2,500 giveaway
On April 30, 2026, Elon Musk testified under oath in the Musk v. OpenAI trial that "most" cryptocurrencies are scams. Days later, screenshots began circulating showing a supposed pinned post on his @elonmusk account announcing his own crypto casino, with a $2,500 welcome bonus using the code ELON, sold as "the one exception Musk himself approves of."
Why it's false: The pinned post never existed. Elon Musk doesn't have, and has never had, any crypto casino of his own; his official account never posted such an announcement. His actual court comment was about OpenAI's 2018 ICO plans, not a promotion of anything. Scammers exploited the viral news of his testimony to lend credibility to fake casino sites with short-lived domains that have been circulating since late 2025. X even rolled out an automated system to curb the wave of hacked accounts promoting these scams under his name.
